I had the same problem; i changed the files with my location but still got the sample location on my website.
I had to change it in the database (table jos_modules, field params) and now it works.
  The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hey Blood,

I am having a prob with your Plugoo....

I modified the mod_plugoo.php and the mod_plugoo.xml with my plugoo parameters, but when I refresh the page, I still have the "JoomLaconic Hosting" info and my account doesn't display.

Any idea on how I can get around that?
